This is a really nice and easy coffee. Extremely approachable and versatile. The creamy body and milk chocolate flavors shine through from the beginning and as the cup cools, you will find some flavors of caramel and sugar. If you're a fan of body, this is the coffee for you. Although roasted as a medium roast, this will also work well for an interesting espresso as the creamy body really comes through the extraction process strong.
This coffee was sourced from El Mirador Finca El Rincon in La Libertad, Huehuehtenango, which is managed by the Molina family. Roberta Molina purchased his 25 hectare farm back in 1968 and his wife Yolanda Golindo has taken up the care of the farm since his death in 2011. The coffee is grown between 1,550 and 1,700 meters above sea level, and the varietals include Bourbon and Caturra. The coffee is washed and patio dried.
