Make an Espresso Martini

Espresso martinis are a delicious and sophisticated drink that combine the rich, bold flavor of espresso with the smooth, velvety texture of vodka. Whether you are a coffee lover or just enjoy a good cocktail, an espresso martini is a must-try.

In this blog post, we will show you how to make an espresso martini with or without actual espresso beans. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of know-how, you can impress your friends and enjoy this classic cocktail at home.

Here's what you'll need:

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz vodka
  • 1 oz Kahlua or other coffee liqueur
  • 1 oz brewed espresso or strong coffee (see below for instructions on how to make this without espresso beans)
  • 1 oz simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water, heated and stirred until the sugar is dissolved)
  • ice
  • optional: chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

  2. Add the vodka, Kahlua, brewed espresso or coffee, and simple syrup to the shaker.

  3. Shake well for about 20 seconds, until the mixture is well chilled and combined.

  4. Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.

  5. Garnish with chocolate shavings or cocoa powder, if desired.

  6. Enjoy your delicious espresso martini!

If you don't have access to espresso beans, don't worry – you can still make a delicious espresso martini using strong coffee as a substitute. Simply brew a pot of coffee using your preferred method, and use 1 oz of the strongest, most highly concentrated coffee that you can create. This will give you a similar flavor to espresso, albeit with a slightly different texture.

We hope you enjoy this recipe for an espresso martini. Whether you use actual espresso or strong coffee, this classic cocktail is sure to please. Cheers!
